Celebrating the Class of 2022
Let the celebrations begin! We are so excited to celebrate the Class of 2022, the 70th Graduating Class from Bishop Fenwick High School, and all that they have accomplished! It has been an amazing year where we started to enjoy the return of normal events and traditions.
Graduation Yard Signs are in! Seniors can pick up their yard sign when they turn their devices in on Friday, May 13, or Tuesday, May 17.
Seniors must turn in their devices after school on Friday, May 13 or after graduation practice on Tuesday, May 17.
Graduation practice will be held at Fenwick on Tuesday, May 17 at 9:30 a.m. Students should meet in the main gym starting at 9:15 a.m. We will also be taking the traditional ’22 photo at some point in the morning. Seniors should wear their senior t-shirt. As part of our celebration of the Class of 2022, Fenwick will provide a lunch for the seniors following practice. Graduation practice is mandatory.
Baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 18 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church (5720 Hamilton Mason Road, Liberty Township, Ohio 45011.) Students must wear their graduation gowns. The Baccalaureate Mass will be livestreamed for family members to view at www.saint-max.org/StreamSpot.
Following Baccalaureate Mass, the Senior Banquet will be held at the Savannah Center (5533 Chappell Crossing Boulevard, West Chester, Ohio 45069), with dinner being served at 6:30 p.m. Gentlemen are expected to wear a dress shirt and tie with dress slacks/shoes. Ladies are expected to wear modest dress-up attire.
The entire Fenwick campus will be open on Friday, May 20 for students and families to take pictures. Beginning at 12:00 p.m., the school building and athletic fields will be available for pictures, including photo backdrops and props both inside and outside the building, and 50-yard line painting on the football field. The campus will remain open through the graduation ceremony and until 9:00 p.m.
Graduation will be held at Fenwick on Friday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. Seniors will assemble in the Auxiliary Gym at 6:00 p.m. Students must wear their caps and gowns, and only cords, stoles, and medals granted by Bishop Fenwick High School are permitted to be worn with the gown. The usual school day policies are in effect, including jewelry, hair color and style, and gentlemen being clean shaven. This is a formal event—appropriate attire is expected.
