Fenwick Presents "High School Musical on Stage!"

The Fenwick Performing Arts Program is excited to present “High School Musical on Stage!” this month. Students have been working hard to bring their characters to life for the spring musical, which centers on the blossoming relationship between Troy, a high school jock, and Gabriella, the new smart girl at school. Troy and Gabriella meet on Christmas vacation while singing in a karaoke competition. When they rediscover each other at school, their well-meaning friends, and the school’s current leading lady, Sharpay, try to thwart their relationship and their surprise decision to audition together for the school show. Finally, Gabriella and Troy find a way to be themselves and are rewarded with the lead roles in the school show. Full of catchy songs and exciting dance routines, Disney’s “High School Musical on Stage!” explores issues of friendship, first love, and acceptance.

Performances will be held at the Sorg Opera House in Middletown (63 South Main Street) on:

• Friday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m.
