Student Support Services
Bishop Fenwick High School offers students with documented disabilities the opportunities to grow academically to reach their potential with support services and accommodations. For students with an IEP/ISP or an accommodation plan, Fenwick has two licensed intervention specialists that provide individualized instruction while monitoring progress, supporting students in their academic coursework, and developing the study skills and strategies to reach their goals.
Students receiving services have the opportunity to add a Tutorial class to their schedule. During this class block, direct instruction by an intervention specialist is provided towards their goal(s), executive functioning skills are sharpened, and support for current classes is provided. These students are afforded the opportunity to understand their strengths, limitations, and learning styles while working towards a fluid college transition.
