Fenwick Summer Camps
Come soar with us this summer at Bishop Fenwick High School! Our Summer Camps are designed for a wide range of ages and are open to both Fenwick and non-Fenwick students alike. Options include engaging Discovery Camps for younger students alongside focused programs in writing, performing arts, music, photography, and forensics.
Each camp is led by our dedicated Fenwick educators and student leaders, blending skillbuilding, fun, and friendship while introducing participants to the values that define our community. College Application Essay Camp
June 15-19 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Entering: Senior Year of High School
A one-week camp for rising seniors who want to get a jump start on their Common Application college essay writing process. The camp, led by an experienced English teacher, will take students from concept, to brainstorm, to rough and final drafts. Students leave camp on Friday having knocked out one of the most important of the many essays needed for a strong college application.
Fenwick Theatre Camp
June 22-26 | 8:00AM-12:00PM
Entering: 5th - 8th Grade
Is your child a budding thespian? Would you like to learn more about the basics of performing arts? This is the camp for you! Our one-week theater camp provides instruction on all aspects of theatrical performances: acting, singing, dancing, choreography, and more! Come learn how to trod the boards with us!
Vocal Energy!
June 22-26 | 1:00PM-4:00PM
Entering: 6th - 12th Grade
Come learn vocal performance from a professional! Campers will focus on developing the fundamentals of good vocal performance techniques, including the basics of vocal production, good rehearsal techniques, fun warmup exercises, and practice for musical performance. There will be a performance at the end of camp.
Photography Camp
June 29-July 2 | 8:00AM - 12:00PM
Entering: 7th - 12th Grade
Campers will learn the basics of good photography techniques, including film! The price includes an excursion to the zoo or other local areas of interest. Each participant is asked to bring (or rent) a DSLR/Mirrorless camera and lens/battery. Other camera equipment will be provided.
Fenwick Forensics Camp
July 27-31 | 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Entering: 6th - 8th Grade
Campers will experience the mystery and joy of forensic science, including the basic scientific tools involved in fighting crime and solving murders. If you have ever watched a show like CSI and wondered how investigators are able to learn so much from tiny pieces of evidence, the answer often lies in the many scientific techniques like the ones you will learn during this camp. Come join us as we learn the science behind the detective work.
Jump Start Jam Camp
August 3-7 | 8:00AM-4:00PM
Entering: 7th - 12th Grade
Campers will work in tandem with Fenwick marching band students.
AM: Band Track: Get back to fundamentals before the school year. Learn school songs, meet students from other area schools and a head start on a new year of music making.
PM: Songwriting Track: Learn songwriting fundamentals, how to utilize Digital Audio Workstations, and basic guitar and keyboard methods!
Each student provides/rents the instrument. Bishop Fenwick provides technology resources.
HSPT Prep Course
June 29-July 2 | 9:00 AM–11:30 AM
Student entering 8th Grade
This four-day High School Placement Test (HSPT) Prep Course is designed for students entering 8th grade in fall 2026. Students will strengthen their skills in Language, Reading, and Math, and learn key test-taking strategies. Through guided practice and interactive instruction, students will become familiar with the HSPT and build confidence ahead of the November test date.
All materials are provided.
Instruction is led by ACE Test Prep, a team of experienced, practicing teachers who specialize in standardized test preparation.
